Congratulations to this resident for keeping their property up nicely and taking pride in their city! The city pride sign will stay in their yard for about 3 weeks.

Disclaimer: This info is only a summary of a few of the ordinances.
PARKING 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to park any motor vehicle, boat or trailer on the unpaved portion of any lot or other undeveloped and un-subdivided property within the City of Woodlawn Park. No such vehicles shall be parked closer to the street than the front of the residence or the setback line of the lot. Ref.: Ordinance No. 1, 1994-1995.
A "paved area" shall mean a solid, unbroken surface consisting of concrete or asphalt. Loose gravel or rock shall not be considered a paved area. Ref.: Ordinance No. 4, 2003. Fine: uncontested violations; first offense - $25, second offense - $50, all others - $100, contested violations; first offense - BUSINESS (SALES & TRADES) 1. Any person engaged in a sales or trade business in the City of Woodlawn Park shall obtain an annual license for which he/she shall pay a minimum of $50 annually.
Total fee shall be in accordance with Subsection A and Subsection B of Ordinance No. 3, Series 1992, update with #3 series 2005-2006. Fine for violation shall be in accordance with Section 8 of Ordinance No. 3 which states that any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined $100 and each day of violation shall be a new offense. EASEMENT MAINTENANCE 1. It is unlawful to discard any trash, grass or debris on any property easement in Woodlawn Park. Fine shall not be less than $50 or more than $500 or not to exceed more than thirty (30) days in jail or both. Each additional day shall constitute a separate offense.

The City was awarded a FREE tree from Eco-tech, Eco-Tech is a provider of industrial, commercial, residential and recycling collection and disposal services serving the Kentucky and Indiana areas.
They provided a free tree and the planting of it to every city that attended the Jefferson County Leagues of Cities annual dinner in December. We had our tree placed at Ambridge Circle and Westport Road.

If 2" or more of snow falls, the roads of Woodlawn Park will be salted and plowed. Less than 2", the roads will be salted only.

- As a courtesy to other residents, please do not roll out your garbage containers until after 6pm on Sunday's and please bring your empty containers in by Monday evening. This will help keep our city looking good and prevent containers being hit by vehicles.
- Please pick up after your dog when you are out walking your dog!
- Please stop at all Stop Signs

"Mayor's Report" excerpt from December 2012 Minutes

- Mike stated the flag was lowered to half-mast in honor of the shooting victims.
- Email distribution list response- Mike stated there had been a huge response to the letters that had been sent to residents. There are 129 residents on the list
- Wingate/MSD Project Mike received a letter from MSD. George read the letter to the Council. The work will begin after the holidays. There was a map included with the letter, which Council reviewed.
George stated the neighbors will need to keep the ditch cleaned out after the work is done. Becky suggested sending a letter to the residents reminding them to clean the ditch.
- Beechwood Road- Mike stated that 1 arborvitae is dead and has been removed. Becky stated 3 had already been replaced. Mike stated it will be replaced as well.
- Mike stated that last year's holiday winners had been selected by Becky and Tom. He asked them to select this year's winners for best door, lights and overall decorations.
