It's been a summer of extremes to say the least. We have had extreme heat with heat indexes reaching into the triple digits. And we've had monsoons dropping over 5 inches of rain on us in just 4 hours.
But we haven't had cars, homes and neighbors washed away by flash flooding. Or neighbors succumbing to the heat. So all in all even with our flooded basements and dry lawns, we have much to be grateful for.
Yes, Woodlawn Park is a Great place to
call HOME!

A community is only as strong as its citizen involvement. So I encourage you to find a way to get involved. Be it helping a neighbor in need, serving on a committee or running
for office, we ALL have a way we can serve.
Above all if you want to have a good neighbor, be a good neighbor!
