WOODLAWN PARK NEWS & UPDATES- JUNE 2014
Dear Residents,

As warmer weather approaches, please remember to STOP at all stop signs and obey the speed limit. More and more residents are out walking and more children are playing outside now!
Also, let's all try to work together to pick up any loose trash that we might see laying around the city. It sure makes our city shine when there is no trash around. And speaking of trash,
PLEASE MAKE SURE that you are bringing in your trash cans the same evening they are being emptied by our sanitation company. And PLEASE do not set your cans out on the street until after 6PM on Sunday evenings.

The City Council has passed and approved the City Council meeting time change to start at 7:00pm instead of 7:30pm. Please make a note of this change. The date will still remain as the 3rd Monday of the month.

Don't forget, you can always check out and keep up with the city council monthly minutes online by visiting or clicking here!

As always remember to be a good neighbor!

CITY DIRECTORY INFORMATION NEEDED
Image

The City directory will be coming out in July. However, we know that the directory is only as good as the information in it.

Each resident is receiving an update form in the mail or you may click on the image above to get it now. Please return this form to city hall by June 22nd. This will give us the time we need to update the directory get it printed and sent out to all residents. Mayor Brown has decided only to send out new directories every two years. But, we will have some extra printed up for new residents to receive. These new directories will have the approved city budget, addresses, names and phone numbers of residents, city contact information and a few reminders about sanitation and other city services. THERE WILL BE NO RESIDENT EMAILS PLACED IN THE DIRECTORY. All emails gathered by the City are confidential! These directories will be in booklet form and easy to carry around.
