Dear Residents,
Each and every year, we will be mailing the October copy of the newsletter to your homes. This year it will be mailed the week of October 21st. Be looking for the newsletter in the mail around that time. This email version is an abbreviated copy of the full newsletter that will be mailed.
Make sure to read about the Community wide clean up project with Brightside that will take place on Saturday, October 26th at City Hall at 9am. All residents are encouraged to participate. We will be picking up along Westport Road in our city.

Two City Council focus positions are switching around......

On September 1, 2013, Councilperson Doug Watson switched his council focus position with Councilperson Tom Nunn. Tom is now taking care of fence and building permits and Doug is handling the Welcoming committee.

BLOCK WATCH meeting set for Thursday, October 3rd at 7:30pm!

George Langford, Councilperson has the Block Watch program moving again! 27 captains are now part of our Block watch. We can never have too many people involved though in this simple but important program. Contact George at 897-1915. It only takes one hour per quarter or 4 hours per year to be a captain. Come and be part of the solution to a better city! Next Block watch captain meeting will be Thursday, October 3rd at 7:30pm at City Hall.
