City of Woodlawn Park News-
News for Woodlawn Park Residents!
August 2013 is Here!
Dear Residents,

Its hard to believe August is here! Thanks to all the residents who were able to take care of your tree debris and help other neighbors in the July micro-burst storm that we had! It was nice to see other neighbors helping other neighbors especially with having no power. The city does have plans this fall to replace the 4 arborvitaes on beechwood Road that were damaged in the storm. Looking forward to some cooler temperatures! Always remember to be a good neighbor!

Please make sure that your house number is visible from the street so that emergency personnel could locate your house in the event of an emergency. In some cases, simply trimming back bushes or shrubs will do the trick!

Strides for Stroke WALK
Committee using City Hall...
Our Mayor, Mike Brown sits on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky and Southern Indiana Stroke Association. He is the committee chair for the Stroke WALK again this October 19th at Brown Park. He asked the City Council if they would mind if the Stroke Walk committee (about 8 people) used the city hall for 4 Wednesday afternoon meetings- once a month for the next 4 months. The city council agreed and the Stroke Association wanted to thank the City of Woodlawn Park for being so gracious!
As a COURTESY....
