House Number Campaign
Louisville Metro Government has an ordinance stating that house numbers on a single family dwelling
must be in visible sight from the road. At a latest glance by our City Police Chief, there appears to be about 35 residents that are in violation of this ordinance in our city. Please check to make sure that your house numbers are both correct and visible. If there is an emergency, we want to make sure that the emergency personnel can locate your property.

Woodlawn Park is getting the benefit of tax dollars through MSD!
Image
As I shared with you in our June Newsletter, our city continues to reap benefits from MSD. MSD was able to complete the Wingate Road project after many years. If you get a chance ride down Wingate Road to see the improvements including the 100' swale installed behind the properties.

KINLOCH ROAD is next in line and work has already begun. A letter was sent out to Kinloch Road residents on June 25th by MSD. Work actually begun a little quicker than they anticipated and they apologized to the Kinloch Road residents for this happening. Mayor Mike Brown also sent out a letter on Friday, June 28th apologizing for MSD's like of transparency. After mnay years, it is nice to see MSD getting the water to drain from Kinloch.

Just a reminder to clean out your MSD culverts and drainage areas. Please keep them free of debris and leaves so that the water can flow throughout the city. If you have a large amount of debris, please contact Councilperson Langford so that we can pass on the problem to MSD.

"Mayor's Report" excerpt from
